Made in 2001 with a MSRP $269.99 An awesome game improvement racket. 4 3/8" NOTE: The 'Triad 3.0' on sides and 'W' logo on top are blacked out. See last picture of how logos should be. The original Triad 3.0 Hammer has all of Wilson's latest technologies- Triad Design with Iso-Zorb; Hyper Carbon compostition; Hammer weighting; Ultralight. Superlight and powerful, the Triad 3.0 is destined to make some history of its own. Ultimate power, ultralight weight= Awesome racquet! FEATURES: TRIAD CONSTRUCTION WITH ISO.ZORB : According to Wilson, the traditional one-piece racquet design may minimize critical playing characteristics (power, comfort, control) when attempting to maximize another. But what if the hoop and the handle never touched? Not only could you maximize power in the hoop and control in the handle, you could isolate shock and prevent it from reaching the arm. For the first time ever, you could design a racquet that didn't compromise. Introducing TRIAD, a revolutionary tri-component design that (according to Wilson) maximizes power, control, and comfort without compromising one for the other. The hoop and the handle of a TRIAD racquet are designed as customized components. They never touch. Wilson buffers them with Iso-Zorbª, an exclusive Wilson polymer similar to the material used in skyscraper foundations to absorb the shock of an earthquake. Wilson believes this design breakthrough delivers a level of performance impossible in an ordinary one-piece racquet. HYPER CARBON COMPOSITION : Hyper Carbon is the lightest, stiffest, and strongest material ever used in tennis racquets. Compared to Titanium, Hyper Carbon is 4 times stiffer, 65% lighter, and 4 times stronger. 2 layers of Hyper Carbon and 5 layers of Graphite are used in the application of Hyper Carbon. Hyper Carbon is used in the Horizontal Axis cross section, increasing stiffness which creates more power. It is also used in the Vertical Axis cross section, increasing torsional stability which creates more control. ISO-ZORB : Iso-Zorb is an exclusive Wilson polymer similar to the material used in skyscraper foundations to absorb the shock of an earthquake. According to Wilson, vibration is reduced by 30% for increased playing comfort. FAN GAP STRING PATTERN : This racket utilizes Wilson's Fan Gap string pattern which extends the sweet spot towards the top and sides of the frame. This pattern greatly reduces ball shock and racket twist caused by off center hits. HAMMER TECHNOLOGY : Weight is reduced in the shaft and handle. With today's racquets getting lighter and lighter, maintaining mass (weight) in the head becomes more important than ever. With Hammer Technology, weight is maintained throughout the head of the racquet, resulting in increased stability and more power. CONDITION: VERY GOOD / NEW STRINGS & NEW GRIP Bumperguard has light scratches. Sides have very light wear and are in very good condition. There are scratches and other blemishes on the racquet from normal usage as shown. No cracks. A few small chips. Please see pics as they are part of description. Overall in very good condition. Strung with Gamma synthetic gut strings. 4 3/8" grip size. New grip. NOTE: The 'Triad 3.0' on sides and 'W' logo on top are blacked out, that's how I got it. See last picture of how logos should be.
