Vintage NOS Snauwaert tennis racquet in unused condition -- it has never been strung. The cover, however, does have my Uncles name written on the inside.
The Snauwaert Wood Composite La Grande is a fibre composite racquet offering a flexible overall feel. An open throat pattern and enlarged head make this a very lively yet forgiving racquet. A responsive wood core and wide shoulder design help eliminate vibration and torque on off-center hits. A white ash core and full fibre reinforcement outside the frame and inside shoulders and open throat. 4 5/8 grip

He loved all things tennis and also became a dealer of racquets and tennis accessories and a stringer for the University of Ala. tennis team and the Tuscaloosa tennis community. Sadly, at almost 90, he's quit playing, and is no longer interested in keeping the many hundreds of tennis items he accumulated. Please note, the racquets we list as NOS have never been used. However, they are old, and as such may show signs of aging.
