Gaston Gaudio Pro Stock Wilson Pro Staff Classic 6.1 95 Paint Job Tennis

Gaston Gaudio's custom Wilson Hyper Pro Staff 6.5 pro stock tennis racquet This racquet was prepared for Gaston Gaudio to use in the 2001 season. Underneath the Hyper Pro Staff 6.5 cosmetics lays Gaston's preferred Pro Staff Classic 6.1 95 with an 18/20 string pattern. Anyone familiar with both racquets will be able to discern the differences in the molds and string patterns. Please understand that this is not merely a retail racquet. The paint even has a "matte" finish, just like the 6.1, whereas the retail 6.5 had a "satin" finish. It was custom built to Gaston's exact specifications by Wilson's pro room. It features his preferred Balmforth Fairway leather grip (wrapped extra high) over an L4 (4 1/2") handle and L4 butt cap. The OEM factory sticker is still on the shrink wrapped handle. There are a few minuscule blemishes from being in storage over the last +20 years. Please see photos for details of the racquet as evidence of its authenticity and condition before bidding.
