Made popular by Rafael Nadal and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, this newest edition for 2019 has an amazing update to the cosmetics and the flex of the frame was lowered ever so slightly in response to players asking for a more controlled response in a frame that is a bit more arm friendly as well. Babolat also repositioned the Cortex dampening material to 3 & 9 o’clock, which gives this player’s stick a softer feel on impact. The stiffness is still on the firmer side at 69 points, and leaves your arm and body with extra energy going into the 2nd and 3rd sets.
